This highly bespoke experience embraces nature through art, conservation and local community interaction. An artist-in-residence programme offers the chance to combine travel with art-making while benefiting nature conservation and local communities.
Take inspiration from the vast savannah landscapes teeming with wildlife or be calmed by the azure blue Indian Ocean waters, each destination presents an opportunity for the different art disciplines to interact and collaborate with local artists and communities. Pay a visit to local art galleries, music or dance schools to immerse in the local art scene. A stop at an art supplies shop can be arranged for artists to pick up drawing and painting materials.
We specially select accommodation where drawings, paintings or sketches can be conducted in conducive surroundings. We hand-pick destinations where local attractions inspire you to create beautiful works of art yet are easily accessible. We can arrange for occasions to mingle and share experiences with local artists and professionals in their field. For accompanying non-artists, an opportunity to volunteer in a wildlife orphanage or engage in a local community project can be arranged.
To raise awareness and fundraise for wildlife, nature conservation or local community building, we can arrange for the travelling artists’ work to be donated to locally corresponding platforms such as gallery exhibitions, publications, performances or auctions.
